The U.S. recreational marine industry is a multi-billion dollar market.The 2006 Recreational Boating Statistical Abstract compiled by the National Marine Manufacturers Association (NMMA) confirms that new boat and motor sales reached $15.1 billion. The traditional powerboat segment (outboard, sterndrive and inboard boats) for both new and pre-owned boats totaled $9.6 billion.The 2006 new boat sales were 912,130 units.

MISSION:
Boat & Motor Dealer (BMD) is the only trade magazine dedicated to providing businesses in the recreational marine industry with the information, commentary and analysis needed to expand their businesses and improve profitability.
