The U.S. recreational marine industry is a multi-billion
dollar market.The 2006 Recreational Boating
Statistical Abstract compiled by the National
Marine Manufacturers Association (NMMA) confirms
that new boat and motor sales reached $15.1
billion. The traditional powerboat segment (outboard,
sterndrive and inboard boats) for both new
and pre-owned boats totaled $9.6 billion.The 2006
new boat sales were 912,130 units.
MISSION:
